That summer she taught me how meaningful and impactful it is to use the talents, abilities and gifts we each have to serve and love the people around us. We are a full service event planning and design firm that creates bespoke celebrations throughout the world with offices in Dallas, Seattle and SanFrancisco. I founded the company more than twenty years ago as a college student trying to navigate a path for my life, never imagining the doors that would open, the places I’d go or the people I’d have the privilege to serve.
While we are known for our classic style, timeless aesthetic and the iconic celebrations we create, what sets us apart is our love for people and our passion to serve them well. For me, it’s always been about people, and using our skills to create meaningful experiences they’ll never forget. Whether we are creating a wedding for five hundred, a birthday party for 12 or just a dinner party at home -- the heart is always the same -- create beauty, love people, serve well.

Steve founded the company in 2002 and is still the visionary for the company and focuses on the creative side of the business in addition to overseeing operations, development and team management. Steve is an experienced musician, cake artist, dress maker and floral designer and uses his knowledge in these fields to work with vendors and advocate for his clients. Steve is married to Jamie Sinclair Moore, co-owner of the company. Together, they have three amazing children who keep life exciting and unpredictable.
While Steve loves creating weddings, his greatest love is for his family and celebrating the big and small moments of life with them. Out of this passion for creating within the home came the launch of Sinclair & Moore Home and Lifestyle where they share recipes, tutorials and inspiration for celebrating beautifully. A signature home product line designed by Steve is set to launch in Fall of 2023.
Jamie is co-owner of our company and lends her middle name, Sinclair, to the business name. Her strong organizational skills stem from a background in marketing and working in the communication offices at Ralph Lauren Corporate Offices in New York City. She is calm, steady, patient, empathetic and a strong rock for the company.
Previously working as our wedding director, Jamie's role has now shifted to more behind the scenes serving as an advisor and support to our coordination team, and sometimes offering personal assistance to our clients on their wedding days. This allows her primary focus to be on raising their three children. Jamie shares the same passion as Steve to create meaningful and memorable moments within their home, and she can be found right alongside him late into the night baking, dreaming up details and creating all the magic for dinners, birthdays and holidays.
Carina interned for Sinclair & Moore nearly a decade ago and is thrilled to have rejoined the team. She brings a background in corporate events and years of experience running her own successful wedding planning company. Carina loves to dream up and create gatherings of all sizes, from grand weddings to small family holidays. Finding a reason to celebrate and experiencing the joy of loved ones coming together is her true passion in event planning. Carina's style is often described as traditional and classic. Her design inspiration frequently comes from searching through vintage editorial resources like etiquette books, home magazines, and women's journals to breathe new life into ideas of the past.
Erika has given almost a decade of her life to working on team Sinclair & Moore. Her background in the hospitality industry built the foundation for her impeccable organization skills and adaptability. Erika enjoys the challenges and the critical thinking it takes to work out all of the puzzle pieces that go into each event and has stopped at nothing to ensure all of our events have run smoothly and efficiently. Erika has transitioned into the director of the coordination team to offer her wisdom that ensures our coordinators have the support they need to provide an exceptional planning experience for our clients. Erika will also be funneling her years of experience and knowledge into educational content that is currently under development.
Devin began her career in the wedding industry as a floral designer and shortly thereafter Steve recognized her natural talent and ability to curate beauty and asked her to join the team as his design assistant. Her love of creating beautiful events developed beyond the aesthetics and she discovered within herself a passion for the logistics, coordination and production side of the business. After gaining experience and working alongside the coordination team, Devin was promoted to a Lead Planner position. Her humor, positivity, attention to detail, and work ethic make her a joy to work with and an asset to the company.
