The Corson Building has always been a favorite venue for me. I love how it feels like a magical spot in Italy, yet it is just minutes from downtown Seattle. It is such a gem. When Anbrit and Jon, a witty, sophisticated and thoughtful couple who love good food, chose this as their venue, I was thrilled to say the least. With the help of ABC Rentals, we tented the gravel alley between the venue and an apartment building and set up a long and narrow table for all 100 guests to sit and dine at. With the O’Malleys as the photographers and Tallant House creating the desserts, it was the perfect recipe for a dream wedding. Vibrant summer peaches, fragrant garden roses, rustic loaves of bread, candles in crystal candlesticks (not to mention a lamb from a local petting zoo that I adorned with flowers) were the finishing touches that made this one of our weddings I’ll never forget.
A huge thank you to my good friends Nancy from Oak and the Owl and Melanie from Melanie Benson Floral Design for assisting me with the flower arrangements for this wedding! We created so many centerpieces that week, and I couldn’t have done it by myself! Thankful for friends who are always willing to step in and be part of our events.
